Last week saw the last major event of the year for Cooper Group UK. With thousands of visitors coming through the doors of the Recycling & Waste Management Show at Birmingham's NEC it was the perfect opportunity for Cooper Group's municipal services division to show case its full refurbishment service.

With the economy currently in recession and companies reluctant to invest in new vehicles Cooper Group wanted to demonstrate how they can extend the working life of vehicles through its refurbishment service. The vehicle on this years stand had been half refurbished to show its original condition on one side and how it looks after refurbishment on the other side. The truck attracted an enormous amount of attention and helped the Cooper Group stand to be one of the busiest at this years show. The pictures below show how a run down vehicle can be transformed by Coopers workshops.

The show was also a good opportunity to increase brand awareness for Munie.com, Cooper Group's online auction and sales website dedicated to municipal and commercial vehicles. With a free prize draw at the show offering visitors the chance to win a 42" lcd television if they registered with the website the stand saw a constant flow of visitors.

Once again Cooper Group held the 'Cooper Cup' charity golf putting competition this year in aid for Help For Heroes, supporting the UK's troops. for more information on the fund-raising at the show see the news story on Help For Heroes.
