Hiab cranes undergo extensive tests and checks when being serviced with CooperHIAB, Individual checks from Subframe, base, outrigger legs and boom section to loader body, hydraulics and electrics to name but a few. All checks are carried out by Authorised and fully trained HIAB service engineers.
If you have taken a basic service contract with HIAB upon purchase of a new crane, you should be entitled to both minor and major services each year. You should check your manual for more details on this. Minor services include checking oil levels, re-greasing and inspecting for damaged / faulty parts. The major service includes all of the previously mentioned alongside changing the oil bath. (if applicable).

Cooper HIAB recommend Crane servicing / inspections should take place from three months depending on usage.
Cooper HIAB product upon servicing / inspections a service report outlining any advisories and repairs that should be undertaken to maintain your HIAB crane.
Service plus carries the above basic service level with the addition of your equipment being covered regarding repairs for up to five years.
The repair and maintenance contract covers up to seven years, this includes three minor and one major service per year and equipment cover up to five years. HIAB owners holding this contract are also entitled to emergency breakdown repairs and replacement worn out parts.
